I like when something calms you and also makes you feel alive. It's nothing about drugs, but about pure things like music or a good film. Like those strange conversations with somebody that suddenly has become special in your life. Lately I despair looking for that calm, for that alive state.
It's getting cold, as though the winter was trying to trick us for no reason. There's never reason to explain the winter, or the relation between my breath and how close you're from me, I guess. Or yet it just means I've been too isolated, so isolated that now I don't know how to response to the changes of temperature. I forgot to take my coat, I lost my baggage somewhere far away from here.
Everything turned out complicated, I got back to my bed. I always get back to my bed, lay down and fade out as the night comes by. Like if sinking in the night was the only way out. But the night is the cold and the fog, is the blur of the streets or the stop of the clocks. After the lie of the lights, the lie of the day, the night comes out with my fear and weaknesses.
Imagine one of those yellow lights of the streetlights twinkling. A big street in a foggy night, symmetrical bluffs on each side of the street. It's such a long street and just one of the bluffs does not work. Now you imagine you're right there, in the middle of the way, naked, the snowflakes falling on your skin. You are staring to nowhere, you are walking upon the edge of nowhere. Then you fall down to the floor and remember that people shouldn't walk naked in the winter night. You mother always said you were clueless. You forgot your baggage somewhere far away from here.
Chaplin was wrong Top 5
5. Belle & Sebastian - I want the world to stop
I want the world to stop, definately....) Let me feel the air again, the talk of friends...
4. FM Belfast - Par Avion
Me ha pegado muy fuerte este grupete recién descubierto, letra de lo más simple sobre querer tener una casa en el Caribe, ir allí en avión... tonterías, pero me sube la moral y lo de lay down in front of our house in the summer time pues quieras que no... anima We were laying down in front of our house in the summer time
3. Hurts - Better than love
Turn away, turn away, close your eyes, you can run away
2. FM Belfast - Underwear
Cause nothing ever happens here...
1. The Radio Dept. - Strange things will happen
Did it finally show that strange things will happen if you let them?

We've started something, we still don't know what.
My android says today it's mostly cloudy
but I just can see the sun
We used to talk about our past, about our future. But also about the way that city was taking our forces up. That damn city, plenty of nothing, just forcing us to give up, to let everything we wanted to do go. The city was always black for us, and we were blue for them. Cause there also was other people, people who cared about us, and gave us their hands just to keep on breathing. But we couldn’t breath anymore, and that was the main problem.
The more we wanted to run away, the more we couldn’t breath. And it’s very complicated to run with the lungs empty. Then, later, we grew up. I don’t know anything about them now.I suppose they learnt how to handle with life, they learnt to survive. I didn’t. I’m still a wanderer, wondering what’s going on with the world I live in. But I just don’t complain, I never complain. To keep on walking, to work it out whatever you’re working on, to keep on moving and to still smile despite your decrepit face, despite you know how much life sucks, how painful is living or how stupid is staring at the sky, like building castles in the sand. But I guess I learnt something, I learnt about beauty, about how worthy is keep on walking, no matter where you’re going and the most important above, about don’t give importance to how stupid the things sometimes are. Like staring at the sky, like building castles in the sand.
The weather is bananas in Valencia. It just doesn’t let you know when or where you are. It’s focused on changing, on making you realize that you live in an absolute lie. I like lies, in the way it makes you feel unsafe.
But, feeling unsafe? Well, yep, I’m pretty weird sometimes. And even more in days like this, when everything is supposed to be about to break down but nobody says a thing. And when nobody says a thing, I lie. I lie about where I’m from, I lie about my preferences, I lie about everything and I feel like laying in heaven. And it is great to feel yourself like in heaven and at the same time unsafe. Because, yes, I also like conflicts.
But please, do not be wrong, this city is not my city. Actually I don’t think there’s a city for someone like me. I mean, the proper weather, the right people in the right atmosphere is such a very complicated thing to reach. That’s why I also hate cinema. That’s why I also love films. That’s why I’m contradictory.
